I still remember when my parents bought me a mini race car track for Christmas. I pulled it out of the box ready to race my brothers and realized it wasn’t already put together. I was pretty disappointed when I read the box on the front side saying “SOME ASSEMBLY REQUIRED”. When you’re 8 yrs old waiting isn’t something you like doing.
Walking with God is kind of the same way. Everything doesn’t come together easily and waiting and working at it isn’t fun. I’ve experienced this following Jesus. I have questions where simple answers wouldn’t have been enough. I realized that my faith was not nicely packaged and all put together for me.
These post are things I wrestle with, wonder, don’t fully understand. I hope you enjoy the wrestling match. I also hope this causes you to jump into the ring with your doubts, fears, insecurites. It’s not wrong to have questions, it’s wrong to leave them unanswered.
I know a God who is speaking answers to my questions in a way I never fully understand. These stories are my journey. Hope you enjoy the trip.
